Website access and server log data
When this website is accessed, the web server processes technically necessary access data. This may include the IP address, date and time of access, requested file, amount of data transferred, referrer, browser type, operating system and access status.
Processing is required to deliver the website, maintain system security and investigate disruptions. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interest is the operation, security and functionality of the website. Log data is not combined with other data and is deleted once it is no longer required for security and functionality.
The hosting provider of this website processes the access data on our behalf as a processor.
Cookies and local storage
This website does not set cookies. It also does not use Local Storage, Session Storage or comparable technologies to recognise visitors.
Contacting us
If you contact us by phone, email or WhatsApp, we process the data you provide in order to handle your enquiry. This may include your name, contact details, the content of the enquiry and project-related information.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where the enquiry relates to pre-contractual or contractual communication. In all other cases, the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; the legitimate interest is then the handling of your enquiry. The data is deleted when the enquiry has been completed and no statutory retention obligations prevent deletion.
If you actively open the WhatsApp link or contact us via WhatsApp, WhatsApp opens on your device or in your browser. The provider is WhatsApp Ireland Limited. Data may be transferred to the United States to WhatsApp LLC or affiliated companies of Meta Platforms, Inc. WhatsApp LLC and Meta Platforms, Inc. are certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; the transfer is then based on the European Commission’s adequacy decision. The privacy information of WhatsApp and Meta also applies. You can alternatively contact us by phone or email.
Map function and external links
The contact section contains a disabled Google Maps map. No connection to Google is made during normal page loading. Only when you select “Load Google Maps” is a Google Maps iframe loaded. Personal data, in particular your IP address and technical access data, may then be transmitted to Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC. A transfer to the United States is possible. Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; the transfer is then based on the European Commission’s adequacy decision.
The legal basis for loading the map after your selection is Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. Where Google then stores or reads information on your device, this is based on your consent under Section 25(1) of the German TDDDG. Consent is not stored in cookies or in the browser; the map is disabled again on the next page load. You withdraw consent by not loading the map again.
Additional external map links are provided. These external services are called only when you actively open the respective link. From that point on, the privacy information of the respective provider applies.
Recipients and disclosure
Personal data is disclosed only if this is required to handle your enquiry, if there is a legal obligation or if you have consented. Recipients may include the hosting provider (access data on our behalf) and, after your selection, Google, WhatsApp/Meta or the respective map service. Data is not transferred for advertising purposes.
Your rights
Subject to the GDPR, you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection to processing based on legitimate interests.
You may withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The competent authority is the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information; you may also contact the supervisory authority at your place of residence.
There is no automated decision-making, including profiling, within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR.
